Set against Boschendal’s Rhone Homestead, Edwina and Will’s wedding felt effortlessly elegant and wonderfully intimate. Vibrant florals and patterned linens brought warmth, colour, and character to the timeless setting. Bathed in autumn sunshine, the celebration blended old-world charm with a joyful, relaxed atmosphere.
CEREMONY
The ceremony centred around a striking asymmetrical floral arch that complemented the natural beauty of its surroundings. Layers of vibrant blooms and cascading foliage softened the structure, bringing colour, texture, and a sense of movement to the space.
Set beneath an ancient oak and framed by sweeping mountain views, the installation felt both abundant and organic. The result was a ceremony setting that felt playful, elegant, and perfectly at home within the landscape.
FLORAL INSTALLATION
A bold floral installation transformed the entrance of Rhone Homestead into a vibrant focal point, balancing abundance with elegance. Rich shades of fuchsia, peach, and soft pink brought warmth and personality to the historic façade, while thoughtfully placed clusters of flowers drew the eye upward and highlighted the building’s symmetry.
The layered design created a striking visual impact without overpowering the architecture, allowing the venue’s character to shine through. From bridal portraits to lively group photographs, the installation provided an unforgettable backdrop throughout the celebration.
RECEPTION
The reception embraced a refined garden-party aesthetic, with long communal tables set beneath the trees and framed by the historic homestead. Patterned linen, warm-toned napkins, and delicate floral arrangements brought colour and character to the setting.
Single-stem tulips and playful blooms added a sense of movement, while candlelight introduced warmth as evening approached. Bathed in dappled autumn light, the overall design felt elegant, inviting, and effortlessly relaxed.
